The vest features a very lightweight cummerbund, which is the side part connecting the front and back of the vest. The cummerbund is made of only MOLLE-compatible stiffened straps and has been narrowed - this model has a skeleton, it consists only of stiffened straps.
The Plate Carrier is equipped with three built-in pockets designed for M4 / M16 magazines. AK-style magazines also fit in these fixed pockets. The magazines are secured in place with a rubber band securing cord.
